At the Laurels we pride ourselves in providing good, wholesome, home cooked meals, together with something a little different, to provide a balanced and nutritious diet.
Our menus are produced on a four weekly basis and reviewed seasonally or with the changing requirements of our residents.
Catering and Food Safety
Residents who require a special diet, such as diabetics, vegetarians or celiac are catered for by our experienced kitchen staff.
Food safety and hygiene is of equal importance to the taste and presentation of meals. All our catering and care staff have a Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene and our Senior Cook has an Intermediate Certificate in Food Hygiene and Food Nutrition.
The Environmental Health Department of RCT cbc inspect the Home on a regular basis and on our last inspection we achieved a Level 5 Award
